Title: Material Coordinator - 2nd Shift

Due to our continued growth and customer demand, we are currently seeking a qualified, interested and available Material Coordinator located in Euless, Texas.

POSITION SUMMARY

In close cooperation with the Logistics Supervisor, position provides leadership in a major segment of the Logistics Department: (1) over the remote warehouse, in the receipt, storage, and issuance of parts, tools and materials; (2) in the plant, in assuring that parts and materials are provided to production teams as needed and in accordance with plan; and (3) in the movement, storage (on- and off-site), loading, and shipping of finished shelters. Oversees and directs the work of material handlers, truck drivers, and/or crane operators.

JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Coordinates receipt, storage, pulling, and transfer of parts and materials within the remote warehouse.
Provides leadership to full-time and temporary material handlers and other workers. Reconciles defective parts and incorrect shipments with vendors.
Negotiates resolution and take action.
Completes administrative activities, reports, date entry, etc. as required.
Reconciles stockouts and appropriate inventory levels with Purchasing Department.
Reconciles bulk material variances.
Coordinates the receipt, log-in and issuing of parts within the plant.
Assures that each work station has the required materials to complete each shelter on time.
Maintains contact with Coordinators and Team Leaders to assure that proper supplies and parts are available to accommodate changes in production plan.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of four years in warehouse or logistics operations with at least one year in a leadership role.
Demonstrated knowledge of inventory control and management, forklift operation, and computerized inventory management. Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift, with assistance, up to 100 pounds.
