Duties & Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Americas commercial strategy for Building & Campus across the United States, Canada, and CALA, translating business priorities into regional, country, vertical, segment, account, and route-to-market plans.

• Own Americas revenue, gross margin, market share, bookings, pipeline, forecast, pricing execution, sales expense, operating efficiency, and regional investment performance, with clear accountability for corrective action when commitments are at risk.

• Lead regional and country sales leaders by establishing consistent accountability for territory design, account ownership, coverage, productivity, customer engagement, talent quality, leadership routines, and execution against annual sales plans.

• Drive disciplined pipeline management, CRM adoption, opportunity quality, sales-stage governance, forecast accuracy, and weekly and monthly commercial reviews across the Americas organization, with clear expectations for variance explanation, recovery actions, deal inspection, risk escalation, and decision-making when plans are off track.

• Own the follow-through from regional commercial reviews, including documenting decisions, assigning owners, tracking commitments, escalating risks, and ensuring that corrective actions translate into measurable improvements in revenue, margin, forecast quality, pipeline health, pricing discipline, and customer outcomes.

• Lead regional pricing and discount execution in partnership with Product Line Management and Finance, balancing revenue growth, market competitiveness, price realization, and gross margin objectives.

• Partner with Product Line Management and Engineering to translate customer, competitor, application, pricing, channel, and market intelligence into portfolio priorities, product roadmaps, business cases, solution requirements, and region-specific actions that improve win rate, share position, and profitable growth.

• Lead the regional competitive response process by identifying share threats, pricing pressure, channel conflict, coverage gaps, product-positioning issues, and competitor moves, then coordinating timely actions with Product Line Management, Marketing, Finance, Channel, and Sales leadership.

• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Experience to align demand, backlog, product availability, service levels, and customer commitments with regional priorities.

• Strengthen distribution and partner coverage where needed, challenge underperforming routes to market, and establish clear partner expectations, segmentation, enablement, and performance management.

• Ensure appropriate field application and systems engineering support is aligned to regional opportunities and serves as an effective conduit between customers, sales, and product teams.

• Represent the Americas region as a key member of the Building & Campus leadership team and contribute to long-range planning, portfolio reviews, investment priorities, and strategic decisions.

• Bring a regional profit-and-loss mindset to decision-making, using financial data, commercial analytics, and operating inputs to balance growth, margin, operating expense, customer commitments, and long-term share position.
