How You'll Help Us Connect the World

• Based on the analysis of open orders and forecasts, it develops plans to ensure that the Raw Material is ordered and in stock to be used in the production lines, while maintaining a level of inventories making adjustments to the plans depending on variations and dates. Follow all work instructions given by the immediate supervisor.
• Work with engineering plans and production specifications to set the agenda of material requirements, workload and production capacity to establish sequences and times to achieve goals in customer orders. Monitor reports and schedules to recommend working Overtime and people levels for the workplace.
• Release orders to various operational groups and suppliers to maintain the flow of production and achieve the promise dates to customers. Work together with suppliers to ensure the delivery and shipment of materials. Assist quality representatives to investigate and resolve problems in raw material defects.
• Provide information to management, agendas, scheduling, interfaces, sales forecasts, rescheduling in case of design or model changes, possible material cuts and potential interruptions in the agenda.
• Monitor inventory levels and ability to achieve plans, ensuring they are in the same channel as captured orders. Solve inventory and material short problems and make recommendations to avoid repetitive or future problems. Arrangement of materials according to engineering changes, scrap levels, adjusting pending orders and inventory.
• Prepare periodic reports concerning the status of production and material deficiency and forecast requirements.
• Have knowledge and management of the Entropy system.
• Know the responsibilities of the EHS system.

Required Qualifications for Consideration

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5 years of experience in similar position.
• Demonstrated ability in Materials Department / production or planning.
• Committed, customer-focused, quick learner, negotiator, problem solver, process management, priority setting, entrepreneur, leadership, effective personnel management.
• Internal SAP certification or MRP electronic system knowledge; SAP preferably.
• Experience in activities on the production floor.
• Oral and written English proficiency.
